“What then is time? If no one asks me, I know; if I wish to explain it to someone who asks, I do not know, yet I can assert with certainty that if nothing passed, there would be no past; if nothing were coming, there would be no future: if nothing existed, there would be no present.”
(Saint Augustine)
Time, ineffable by nature, takes shape thanks to the relationship established between the present and its past and future, materializing on a physical plane that allows us to experience what emerges on a personal level from this mutual interaction.
The present is here and now, originating its past and its future, giving life to projections of itself and thus generating three different entities. (At this stage, they travel following their own timeline, although they begin to become aware of each other's existence). (Initially following their own timeline) The first encounters are born (therefore) during which the present experiences its centrality between the two projections, within a chaotic atmosphere at its birth, (a prelude to a path) that will then unfold.
It is the past, therefore, the first to exert its influence, which persists, albeit in some cases veiled, throughout the show. It serves as an aid, leads us to reflection, can put us in difficulty, but above all, it never ceases to be, it is part of one's existence from the very first moment and immediately creates a thread between what is and the trace that remains at every passing moment. In a second moment, the focus shifts to the future, every action of the present generates a consequence that will outline it, also a driver that pushes the modulation of one's behaviors according to a comparison with a possible vision of it; in turn, it can be more or less certain, wear the clothes of anguish, like hope, or still be an opportunity for challenge.
The present, therefore, the fulcrum of the relationship created between the three entities, binds them in a relationship that becomes increasingly resilient, although still at the mercy of different suggestions. This relationship intensifies and thickens until it becomes completely amalgamated, in light of the fact that the three projections can be reunited under the same person, they live a bond that no longer needs to be explicit, that lives outside of physical contact, that reaches playfulness and carefreeness.
The point of conflict comes when the two influences, past and future, become too impactful, to the point of taking away the space that the present should keep for itself, hence the need arises to find it again, to exercise control over one's projections, which can be found without distancing from them, which remain in continuous becoming, but finding their own balance within. From its own space, personal and scenic, the present learns to emerge aware from this impact, in acceptance, sure of its place; the choices it makes in this juncture resolve the way to come into contact with the other two entities until reaching a relationship that then enters into total harmony, exchange
and fusion.
In conclusion, this relationship, in continuous becoming, shows the concrete alternation between moments of peace, conflict, linearity, and rupture; we all experience the connection with our past and future, which creates rhythms, of life, of play, of waiting, and of silence, a journey within which we hope to bring you.
