“What, then, is time? If no one asks me, I know; if I wish to explain it to someone who asks, I do not know, and yet I can confidently say that if nothing passed, there would be no past; if nothing were coming, there would be no future; if nothing existed, there would be no present.”

(Saint Augustine)

Time, ineffable by nature, takes shape thanks to the relationship established between the present and its past and future, materializing on a physical plane that allows us to experience what emerges personally from this mutual interaction.
The present is here and now, it generates its past and its future, giving life to projections of itself and thus creating three different entities. (At this stage they travel along their own timeline, though they begin to become aware of each other's existence). (Initially following their own timeline) The first encounters are born (thus), during which the present experiences its centrality between the two projections, within a chaotic atmosphere at its birth, (a prelude to a journey) that will then
unfold.
It is the past, then, that first exerts its influence, which persists, even if sometimes veiled, throughout the entire performance. It serves as a help, leads us to reflection, can put us in difficulty, but above all never ceases to be, it is part of one's existence from the very first moment and immediately creates a thread between what is and the trace that remains at every passing instant. Later, attention shifts to the future, every action of the present generates a consequence that will shape it, also acting as a driver that pushes us to adjust our behavior according to a possible vision; in turn, it can be more or less certain, take on the guise of anxiety, or hope, or again be an opportunity for challenge.
The present, therefore, the fulcrum of the relationship created between the three entities, binds them in a relationship that becomes increasingly strong, though still subject to various influences. This relationship intensifies and thickens until it becomes totally blended, given that the three projections can be reunited within the same person, they live a bond that no longer needs to be explicit, that exists beyond physical contact, that reaches playfulness and lightness.
The point of conflict comes when the two influences, past and future, become too overwhelming, taking away the space that the present should keep for itself, thus arises the need to find it again, to exercise control over one's projections, which can be regained without distancing from them, as they remain in constant flux, but by finding one's own balance within. From its own space, personal and scenic, the present learns to emerge aware from this impact, in acceptance, confident of its place; the choices made at this stage resolve the way of interacting with the other two entities until reaching a relationship that enters into total harmony, exchange
and fusion.

In conclusion, this relationship, in constant evolution, shows the real alternation between moments of peace, conflict, linearity, and rupture; all of us experience the connection with our past and future, which creates rhythms, of life, of play, of waiting and of silence, a journey within which we hope to take you.
